   These shoes are amazing and unbelievably comfortable. I bought them when I lived on a street with 25 shoe stores on it (w. 8th, nyc) and they won my slow 'battle of the shoes' I did for 6 months on my way home.
   The shoes are perfect; I wore them all around the world for 4 years. They are the right mix of pure comfort and 'formal enough if they dont look to closely.' The birkenstock footbed is the key, along with leather that molds to your feet and a comfy rubber sole (the more formal footprint shoes all have the harder leather sole which would not work for me as an every single day shoe.)
